Summer Lane Care Home is Phase 1 of a Care Village complex that will comprise: The Care Home, 53 Extra Care Flats and a Day Care Centre with offices.

The Care Village will be the first of its kind in Weston-Super-Mare and is designed to provide a comprehensive care service for North Somerset's Senior Citizens which will ease many of the problems that have to be overcome as people get older.

It will give a progressive service from initial usage of the Day Care Centre (providing company and perhaps a meal) followed by transfer to one of the Extra Care Flats (where support is provided while still allowing independence) through to full nursing accommodation.

Aims and Objectives
It is our aim to provide a home where people can live in dignity with the fundamental rights of self-determination and individuality. They will have the support needed to enable them to live a full and active life and it is our aim to help them to preserve their self-respect if they depend on support.

The home aims to provide the highest standard of care by creating a secure, relaxed, happy and homely atmosphere for our residents while treating them as individuals.
